Polly Harbison Design is committed to creating sophisticated and elegantly resolved architecture. Our strength lies in our ability to solve complex design problems with beautifully built outcomes.
The practice delights in the entire design process — from initial sketch design through to construction and completion. By working closely with our clients and builders, we ensure that each building responds to its unique site, context and brief.

03 — Studio
From our studio in Surry Hills, we take on a small number of projects at a time so that every building receives the attention it deserves. As Principal and Director, Polly remains engaged in the entire architectural process — her personal involvement ensures that every building is rigorously designed and built.
Our projects have received extensive recognition in awards programs and have been well published both internationally and locally.

ARB NSW 7106
Polly studied architecture at the University of Sydney. Prior to starting Polly Harbison Design, she worked for award-winning architects on residential, multi-residential and large-scale public projects. She has also been a studio tutor at the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales.

Bridget graduated with a Master of Architecture from the University of Sydney and joined the practice in 2019. She brings experience in high-end residential design with a focus on interiors and heritage, and has cultivated an appetite for creating spaces that elevate our everyday rituals, marrying form with function.

Jincheng completed a Master of Architecture at the University of New South Wales, graduating as the 2020 UNSW Graduate of the Year. A recipient of the Renzo Piano Foundation Scholarship, he has worked at RPBW in Genoa and developed his hand-drawing and crafting abilities at Casey Brown Architecture.
Master of Architecture
Tyla graduated from the University of New South Wales with First Class Honours and the 2022 AIA Architectural Technologies Award. She has worked on high-end residential projects in Sydney and spent two years at Make Architects in London on workplace, hospitality and retail projects.
